Last week Money ranked Beaverton 9th in the top “10 Best Places to Live” in America.  Citing findings from the analysis of 60 key factors including taxes, education, and housing, the magazine touted ‘value’ as the city’s top lure.  Although home values have increased considerably over the last year, buyers still find the median price of $320,000 low compared to the suburbs of Seattle to the north and San Francisco to the south.  So they come…in droves.  Between July of 2014-2015, 111 people moved to the Portland Metro area every day!

According to the 1990-2000 census  comparison, Beaverton boasted nearly 60,000 inhabitants in 1990. Today tipping the scale at almost 100,000, Beaverton has undergone considerable change to accommodate for this influx.  From the Tanasbourne Town Center, Village, and Streets of Tansasbourne encompassing parts of both Hillsboro and Beaverton to the north to Progress Ridge Townsquare near the Tigard Line, Washington County provides easy access to shopping as an alternative to the 175 stores found at the larger Washington Square Mall.

Realty Advantage is familiar with the changes and more importantly with the area. Relocating with Intel or Nike? We’ve got you covered.  Let us help you settle down and enjoy one of the best small cities in America!
